Revision
Revision is Neville Goddard's practice of returning to an event in imagination and changing it to match the preferred outcome. His best known instruction is to review the day before sleep, replace any unwanted scene, and experience the corrected event as if it had occurred that way.
Neville treated memory as a present imaginal activity rather than a record that must keep producing the same reactions. He called daily revision the "pruning shears of revision" because it removes unwanted experiences before they take root as continuing assumptions. Revision changes the remembered event; forgiveness releases a person from the judgment attached to it.
