Dreams & Visions
Dreams and visions had several roles in Neville Goddard's teaching. He interpreted some dreams as symbolic accounts of a person's current state or imaginal activity. He treated other dreams and waking visions as revelations with a scriptural meaning.
Neville did not present every dream as a prediction. He read its symbols in the context of the dreamer, the person's imaginal activity, and the language of scripture. Waking visions carried a different quality for him, especially when they formed part of the spiritual experiences he associated with the Promise.
